Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was undertaken on an area of land within close proximity to the presumed line of Hadrian's Wall in Westgate Road. Documentary evidence proved that the wall did indeed pass close to the site as well as suggesting that there may have been evidence of medieval occupation on the Westgate frontage. [AIP] |
