Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a site which was split into two by a road. Thirteen trenches were excavated, and four revealed features of some interest. On the western part of the site, a ditch was found which had probably been a drainage channel. Ploughmarks made by two different ploughs were present, and post-holes indicated a fence-line and gateway. On the eastern part of the site, struck flints, 17th-19th century pottery and a post-hole with spade-marks were found. No recommendations were made concerning further work.[AIP] |
