Abstract: |
A magenetometer survey was carried out following the discovery of an archaeologically significant cluster of Roman coins, pottery and in situ masonry. The survey did not locate any anomalies indicative of extensive archaeological activity over the majority of the site. However, potential archaeological anomalies were identified in the vicinity of the finds cluster. Without further evaluation, it was not clear whether these anomalies were associated with the finds or caused by the re-instatement of the topsoil. [Au(abr)] |
