Abstract: |
A desk-top assessment was undertaken where it was proposed to develop the land for retail purposes. Although records in the SMR state prehistoric activity, in the form of flint assemblages and other, stray finds and medieval activity occurred in the surrounding areas, nothing was known from the site itself. However, in more recent times a lake was constructed within the area of land studied and a house also stood within it. [AIP] |
