Abstract: |
A survey of extensive earthworks, comprising enclosures and road lines, situated in parkland to the north, south and west of the church and hall, indicated village shrinkage (some caused by emparking 1790s-1820's). A network of banks provided evidence for a pre-parkland field system. [Au(abr)] |
