Abstract: |
Excavations were undertaken within an area where a previous evaluation had identified possible evidence for a domestic site which dated to the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age. The excavation revealed two small pits and a ditch. Dating evidence recovered was limited but a Late Bronze Age date was postulated for the pits and a Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age date for the ditch. The excavated features, albeit scarce, indicated a low level of prehistoric activity within the nearby vicinity. [Au(adp)] |
