Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken on the site of a proposed housing development. On the available evidence, the site was thought to have a moderate to good potential for features and finds of the Bronze Age and Roman periods, and a low to moderate potential for Palaeolithic artefacts and ecofacts. The sites archaeological potential for other periods of human activity was thought to be low. The cumulative impact of the proposed development on any archaeological deposits which may have been present was likely to have been significant. [AIP] |
