Abstract: |
A layer of in-situ natural brickearth was observed in the two soakaways. It lay below a layer of disturbed brickearth that contained one burnt flint. Two pits of Middle or Late Saxon date were observed in one soakaway. A ploughsoil was below a layer of post-medieval date in the other soakaway. Modern deposits were present in both trenches.[Au(abr)] |
