Abstract: |
The desk study demonstrated that although the site had a high archaeological potential for archaeological deposits, particularly of Roman date, the excavation of a single and, over the majority of the site, double basements, had resulted in the wide scale destruction and truncation of deposits on the site. The assessment, discussions with the Archaeological Officer of the Corporation of London and others established that the site had only a limited archaeological potential [Au(adp)] |
