Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken at St. Lawrence's Church. The church, originally medieval, lay within an Iron Age hillfort. A pipe trench excavated across the earthworks of the hillfort and through the graveyard revealed possible ditches associated with those defences, graves and other graveyard features associated with the church.
