Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken at the site, which lay within the SAM of Stow Camp. A single L-shaped foundation trench was excavated for an extension, and a narrow strip of ground was reduced in level for the construction of the ramped access. No archaeological deposits were disturbed, and all of the horizons encountered related to the construction of the surgery buildings in 1972, or later. [Au(abr)] |
