Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping at a development site, which lay adjacent to a field in which cropmarked features had been recorded. Several modern pits were revealed, but nothing of archaeological interest was observed. It was noted that parts of the ground surface had been obscured by redeposited soil and the movement of machinery. [AIP] |
