Abstract: |
<summary>An excavation prior to development revealed medieval settlement evidence. Large numbers of pits and an oven suggested this was the rear area of tenement buildings, dating from the later 12th century. An Iron Age ditch and a Roman cobbled area were also found in areas which had not been disturbed by later development. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
