Abstract:
The proposed pipeline route crossed three areas of previously recorded archaeological potential, for which neither the full extent or nature were accurately known. Five groups of potential archaeological deposits were observed and recorded including lynchet profiles, a group of linear ditches, a group of rubble spreads, a linear feature and made ground deposits extending from the Bristol-Exeter railway line. The route of the proposed pipeline however, did not disturb any of the archaeological deposits.[Au(abr)]
