Abstract:
The evaluation consisted of the excavation and recording of 23 trial trenches. The evaluation revealed no archaeological features apart from the ditches in trenches 3 and 4, and the dating and function of these is not entirely clear. A lack of residual archaeological material from elsewhere on the site may have suggested that none had ever been present. [Au(abr)]
