Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was maintained on the excavation of a water-main trench. Much of the soil removed contained old service pipes and modern backfill. However, the bottom 0.20m of the longitudinal section did contain burials and grave goods in the form of coffin handles and fittings; the interments probably dated to the 18th century. The new pipe was positioned so as not to damage the {italon}in situ{italoff} burials. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 1991.1008 (YAT investigation identification no) |
