Abstract: |
The evaluation identified possible furrows found in the northern half of the site which did not extend to the southern half, suggesting that this was not cultivated. Three post holes, one containing sherds of medieval pottery, were found in the north-west corner of the site. The north-east corner could not be investigated because of the presence of an old orchard, which may in any case have destroyed any remains that once existed beneath it. [Au] |
