Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out prior to the re-development of a site for student accomodation. The assessment found no evidence for archaeological remains earlier than from the post-medieval period on the site, it had been used for housing; and in the 20th century, as a dairy depot. It was a possibility that Civil War defences crossed the site. [Au(adp)] |
