Abstract: |
Two parallel gullies, a ditch and a pit were identified, but unfortunately these contained no datable artefacts. Fragments of iron working slag, dated to the post-medieval period were recovered from the subsoil. A cluster of fragments possibly represented a smithing area was also revealed. [Au] |
