Gates Hill Camp is an univallated Iron Age hillfort located ona promonatory overlooking the River Nidd. A topographic survey was conducted to assess the extent and condition of the surviving monument in order to provide a basis for the future management and conservation of the site, and to establish a baseline for further archaeological research.
