Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken on the proposed development site that lay outside the walled city of York. Investigations revealed that the site showed evidence of Roman activity. Any later occupational evidence was not discovered as the site was noted as being in agricultural use until the late 19th century. [Au(adp)] |
