Abstract: |
The assessment of the south-western part of Green Lake Playing Fields was requested by English Heritage in order to assess the impact of a proposed pipeline which would, in part, affect an area designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM 31930/06). The assessment established that significant archaeological deposits were present within the area of the proposed pipeline, and it was recommended that further archaeological work be carried out in order to produce a scheme to mitigate the impact of the proposals.[Au] |
