Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on a proposed supermarket extension due to a human jaw being found in a foundation trench there in 2003. The assessment identified that the site was a former floodplain and the human mandible was probably imported to the site with bulk fill. Further work was recommended to identify the context of the jaw. [Au(abr)] |
