Abstract: |
A number of archaeological sites were found within the study area, however, the vast majority of these were far enough away to escape detrimental impact from the development. A ring ditch identified as a cropmark from aerial photographs was the only archaeological feature within the confines of the development site, and was thought to be the remains of a Bronze Age barrow. It was suggested that a walkover survey of the site and a geophysical survey of the ring ditch be carried out in order to assess the possible extent of any archaeological remains. [Au(adp)] |
