Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken prior to the construction of a swimming pool in an area of archaeological importance, located in the grounds of the medieval hall. An intact archaeological deposit was found between the topsoil and subsoil. Very little datable evidence was recovered but the deposit could give a broad indication of the date of the moat. [AIP] |
