Abstract: |
The author examined foundations to the rear of 228 Cable Street, and monitored and recorded the excavation of a deep trial trench near the street frontage. Archaeological features were recorded: including post-medieval pits, filled with ash derived from nightsoil, and which contained the collecting jars from 17th century sugar refining. [Au(adp)] |
