Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a site within an archaeological priority zone. A previous excavation on the site had revealed prehistoric flints and a post-medieval feature. Four trenches were excavated, and fragments of Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery were recovered. No evidence was found of watercourses shown on 18th-19th century maps. No significant features of any date were encountered, and no further work was recommended.[AIP] |
