Abstract:
The assessment was undertaken on the site in advance of a proposal to build residential and commercial properties. The site was previously used as a public house although the building had its origins in the early 19th century. The rear garden of the property was a scheduled site, being the approximate position of a motte and bailey castle. [AIP]
