Abstract: |
Several dense concentrations of small-scale magnetic dipoles were detected: the most prominent fanned northward from the bonfire edge to a distance of 20m, almost connecting with a second cluster inside the northern field boundary. A similar dipole scatter was seen immediately East of Victoria Terrace on a part of the field containing an abundance of modern pottery, brick and glass debris. It seemed likely that the concentrations correlated with deposits of modern ferrous litter. [Au(adp)] |
