Abstract: |
Scanning showed generally high background levels of magnetic enhancement. The north-eastern portion of the site contained modern debris lying on the surface and large warehouses to the south affected the response nearby. Detailed survey recorded ridge and furrow cultivation in both areas, this corresponded to the earthworks visible on the ground. A small circular anomaly may have some archaeological potential, however, the weak and unclear nature of the response detracted from such interpretations. [Au(abr)] |
