Abstract: |
The site was close to the disused Blackworth Waggonway, the present Metro Line, and a number of important prehistoric structures identified during aerial photographic reconnaissance. Although the survey indicated the truncated presence of possible medieval ridge and furrow, the survey area was not large enough to confirm this finding unequivocally. The presence of many positive anomalies, which superficially resemble small pits, was noted, including a number of apparent pit alignments. The date for these anomalies remain uncertain. [Au(adp)] |
