Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on the site. An early Saxon pit was identified along with medieval ditches, pits and post holes. Undated pits, ditches and post holes were observed, along with a clay platform that predated the Saxon pit. Roman evidence consisted of briquettage, from salt production. [Au(abr)] |
