Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation by trial trenching was carried out in advance of a proposed development. Two trenches were excavated and revealed a medieval bank, post-medieval pottery and evidence of a former garden and orchard dated to the post-medieval period. There was no sign of intensive structural activity at any time, a single decayed timber post may have formed part of an early fence. [Au(adp)] |
