Abstract: |
An archaeological desktop assessment and field reconnaisance were undertaken of a proposed 3km long pipeline corridor running westwards from Low Moor Lane to Leighton Reservoir in the parish of Healey, North Yorkshire. Six areas of potential archaeological significance were recorded either directly within the 15m wide proposed corridor or within 50m of its proposed route. An archaeological watching brief on five sites was recommended together with a geophysical survey on an earthwork site at the western end of the corridor. [Au] |
