Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment and field survey were undertaken on the archaeological implications of the proposed site for a golf course. There is evidence of ridge and furrow in several fields in the study area, indicative of medieval farming. There is also possible evidence for medieval/post-medieval industry on part of the site, in the form of a brick-kiln. Further investigation is recommended during any disturbance of the ground. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
