Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site within an Archaeological Priority Zone. Prehistoric finds and a Roman settlement had been recorded in the surrounding area, and medieval occupation was documented. During the evaluation, a possible post-medieval revetment or simple bargebed was recorded. Other features included 19th century basement walls, foundations and sewers. [Au(adp)] |
