Abstract: |
Two trenches were excavated during the evaluation. They revealed three post-medieval pits and two post-medieval post holes, all of which were 19th century in date. Another trench revealed a shallow stream channel that was filled by redeposited brickearth and within this two sherds of pottery dating from the late 11th century were found. [AIP] |
