Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken, on an area containing four areas of archaeological potential (A-D). Area B contained a crop-mark but was beyond the area crossed by the pipe. Beneath the topsoil, the trench in area A produced disturbed and made ground near the farm, with natural Mercia Mudstone at the site perimeter, while the trench in Area C produced only natural mercia mudstone. Area D was not inspected. No archaeological remains or artefacts were seen in areas A and C. [Au(abr)] |
