Abstract: |
A geophysical (fluxgate gradiometer) survey, covering 3.8 hectares was carried out along the proposed route of a new overhead electricity line. No anomalies of a probable archaeological origin were identified. Several area of magnetic enhancement have been noted, particularly at the eastern end of the corridor. Whilst these could be caused by archaeological features, geological or modern causes are considered probable. [Au] |
