Abstract: |
An assessment was carried out at the site, a Grade II Listed building. There was thought to be a moderate to high potential for Roman material to be recovered, most likely in the form of suburban occupation and industrial activity, with possible inhumations. The study area was unoccupied from the 17th century until 1808-9, when the present road arrangement was constructed. [Au(abr)] |
