Abstract:		 An archaeological assessment ahead of reconstruction of Shaldon Bridge, Teignmouth determined that remains existed that were of archaeological and historical value. Recommendations were made dealing with the preservation of important features and buildings near or associated with, the bridge. Recording of the bridge itself and a watching brief over implementation of the scheme were also to be carried out. Further consultation on archaeological recording was requested. [AIP]
