Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken at All Saints Church, Crudwell to monitor alterations to the heating system. This involved the removal of several flagstones in the nave and chancel and the excavation of pipe trenches for new pipework. It was concluded that the flagstones had been laid within the last hundred years, and that the pipe trenches only penetrated the bedding material used to lay the flagstones. Therefore, no archaeological remains or deposits were disturbed. [Au] |
