Abstract: |
<summary>The need for a training excavation, coupled with the sites' potential for promoting an appreciation of archaeology amongst the wider public, and the development of the castle as an educational and tourist resource, led to excavations being carried out in 1990. Medieval features were revealed: a bailey ditch, an industrial feature and part of a building. Further work was planned for the future. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
