Abstract: |
The watching brief identified archaeological deposits on the site, although their precise nature was not clear. A tile collected suggested that they may have been of medieval origin. Documentary evidence suggested that the area was in agricultural use prior to its development for housing in the 17th century and the deposits found would support this. [AIP] |
