Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken on a site that lay within the core of the medieval village. Previous work nearby had revealed evidence of 15th/16th century structures and occupation deposits dating from the 13th century. Only one feature was identified, a pit in the south-east corner containing 19th/20th century rubbish. [AIP] |
