Abstract: |
A watching brief and building recording was carried out on The Grange during alterations and the adding of an extension. The Grange building dated from 1817. The watching brief observed that the 19th century additions had been removed in the area of the groundworks by levelling. Stone lined drains of a 1660s date were observed though, linked to a cistern. A well sealed pit of 1720-60 date was also found. [Au(abr)] |
