Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed evidence for a silted up northern extension to the nearby scheduled moat as well as features representing a water management system and a post-medievalstone yard surface. Finds included post-medievalred earthenware pottery and glass. Twenty-four fragments of poorly preserved pig and horse or cow bone were also present, no butchery marks were identified. Environmental samples were also taken. [Au(adp)] |
