Abstract: |
Four periods of activity were identified on the site. Prehistoric material recovered included flints from the Mesolithic and Early Neolithic periods, also recovered was redeposited Late Iron Age / early Roman pottery. Two field ditches, probably Roman were recorded as was a possible contemporary road. Medieval occupation was represented by features and pottery which were recorded in the eastern field. The remains of a post-medieval building were also recorded [Au (abr)] |
