Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing development. The site lay near the projected route of the London to Colchester Roman road. Four trenches were excavated, and 20th century building rubble was encountered. No archaeological features or finds were recorded. It was recommended that no further work should take place.[AIP] |
