Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the groundworks associated with the refurbishment of two agricultural buildings for residential purposes. The larger consisted of a barn which had originally been a late medieval hall house, while the smaller was a brick building of post-medieval date. No deposits of medieval or early post-medieval date were seen to have survived in the medieval building. No dateable artefacts were recovered from either building. [Au(abr)] |
